Reunited cats

The cats listed on this page show those that we understand to have now been safely reunited with their owners.

Some will have come home by themselves and some will have been helped by our website.

These may include cats from the 'Found Cats' page - where an owner has been identified by a cat that was previously considered, by a member of the public, to have potentially been stray, as well as cats who had been listed by their owner on our 'Lost Cats' page and have since been located or returned home of their own accord.

Whatever the circumstance, the volunteers at Lost Cats Brighton wish them all a very hearty welcome home.

About

Missing for 32 days
Some amazing news on this lovely sunny day – Hunter is home! He was tracked down to Grange Road, where he’d been going to someone's garden for food for a few days..
And then this news today:
‘They have managed to trap him 🙂 We’re so pleased to have him home. Thank you so much for all your help with both of them. Sebastian is a bit nonplussed but I’m sure will be happy in time! Thank you so much again for your help - we’re so pleased to have them reunited! he’s very grubby and got a few bald spots, but we’re leaving him to himself for the moment as he’s in his favourite spot under the bed. He’s seems ok though 🙂‘
Welcome home beautiful boy! We are so pleased you are home now where you belong. 😍❤️😍

About

Missing for 29 days
We received some wonderful news from lovely boy Arthur's family:
'So happy to report that Arthur has been found safe and well, in Uckfield of all places. No idea how he got there!
A kind member of the public spotted him 3 days ago, has been feeding him and managed to scoop him up and take him to the vet, from where we recovered him today!!!!!
He's very thin but otherwise none the worse for his adventures.
Four weeks missing. I guess the message is to get your animals microchipped and never give up hope!
Thanks for all your help!!'
As Arthur's owner says, please make sure you microchip your cats, and advise any of your friends or neighbours with cats to microchip too.
Welcome home beautiful boy!

About

Missing 200 days!! 🎉🎉🎉
It gives us enormous pleasure to share the amazing news, that Kingsley, who went missing in September 2020, shortly after moving from London to Hove, has today been reunited with his family! 😍 Huge thanks to Rebecca, who got in touch with us last week after she had responded to a query in a local community group, where some neighbours were trying to identify a lovely cat, seen in the area for the last few months. The cat looked clean and healthy (obviously being well fed!), so it was generally agreed he probably lived locally. However to be on the safe side, Rebecca sent us a photo, some other details and the area the cat was known to hang around.. The cat looked familiar!!! 🙀
After an excited check through our records to confirm, we contacted Kingsley's astonished owners with the news! 😅 Several days of ‘Find Kingsley’ efforts followed, with owners leafleting and speaking to neighbours in the location (just a few streets from their own), posting in local online groups and at least one failed attempt to grab him - where seeing the waiting cat basket, Kingsley bolted! 😹 Until today, when his owners contacted us with “Got him!” – as thanks to lovely staff at Barney’s Deli, he had been caught and was, after nearly 7 months, home AT LAST! 🙏🏼💞 Welcome back Kingsley! 😻

Missing 192 days!! 🎉🎉🎉
It gives us enormous pleasure to say that gorgeous Vinnie, missing since September 2020 has AT LAST been found! and today reunited, after 6 months and 11 days!! 🎉🎊 We are incredibly thankful to Sharon and her daughter Lisa, who got in touch with some photos of a friendly, chatty ginger boy, built like a 'tank' 😂 who seemed to have taken up permanent residence in Sharon's garden over the last couple of months. Lisa had checked our website and thought that the cat could be Vinnie, missing from 1.5 miles away. When we saw the photos, we thought so too! Welcome home handsome boy! 🧡🧡 xx

** REUNITED ** 🎉🎉🎉
Missing 314 days!!!!
A few days ago, we received an incredible update from Cook's owner; "Lost Cats Brighton some amazing news... I am going up to Oxford on Thursday to collect Cook 💚😼 a vet called on Friday....he had been living on someones garden since March but was spotted as early as end of August a few days after he disappeared in 2020... we are not sure if he got into a delivery van or had been taken... but at last...thank you to a beautiful soul who decided to check his chip a second time, as the first time the chip came unregistered, we will be together again 🤗"
And today, a further update to say, that after 10 months and 10 days, Cook is finally back home where he belongs!! 🎉😻 🎊
We would like to express our enormous gratitude to Louise and her husband, not only for the care they have shown Cook, all of these months, but also for their determination not to give up in their quest to find his family, especially when the microchip appeared at first to be unregistered. Thank you!! ⭐️ ⭐️
