Reunited cats

The cats listed on this page show those that we understand to have now been safely reunited with their owners.

Some will have come home by themselves and some will have been helped by our website.

These may include cats from the 'Found Cats' page - where an owner has been identified by a cat that was previously considered, by a member of the public, to have potentially been stray, as well as cats who had been listed by their owner on our 'Lost Cats' page and have since been located or returned home of their own accord.

Whatever the circumstance, the volunteers at Lost Cats Brighton wish them all a very hearty welcome home.

The best news to share – Stanny has been found. His family say he was found by a local family who lived on an adjacent road, walking along their fence - he hadn't gone far. This neighbour kindly lured Stanny in with tuna, then video called his family, who rushed round with a cat basket and they were reunited.

They report that Stanny has lost a bit of weight (saying perhaps he needed to shed those Christmas pounds!) - otherwise he seems fine. He covered his family with kisses as soon as he got home, had some food and then fell fast asleep on his blanket.

Welcome home lovely boy🧡

Delighted to say we have heard from Kitty Jim’s family with the great news that Kitty Jim has been found. A cat had climbed into the engine of a car, and then when the car owner drove to a nearby recycling centre the cat was seen to jump out.

As Kitty Jim was found half way between the recycling centre and his home, it is thought most likely it was Kitty Jim and the finder was able to contact Kitty Jim's family. What an adventure!

Welcome home lovely boy 💞

Some fantastic news! We're delighted to report that lovely Fules has been found, safe and sound. She is a bit skinny and very hungry but she is well and unharmed. Her family advise it appears that she may have become disoriented after receiving a booster jab and wandered across the A27, a behaviour she had never exhibited before. They are extremely grateful to everyone who shared tips and comments. The reported sightings of her kept their hopes alive and ultimately led her to them. So a big thank you to everyone for helping reunite this family.

Welcome home, lovely girl.
