Details : We received the following email from Dolly's family who are naturally very concerned
DOLLY is a pretty orange/tabby with white socks and small amount of white on chest. She is 3.5 years old (Dolly is the cat on the right,with less white on her) She is much loved and very missed, her sister the larger of the two is behaving oddly and has become more affectionate than usual and more vocal, missing her too : ( Dolly is a hunter, and has brought in many 'presents' so, with the weather warming up and out of my 3 cats, she is always out the longest, assumed she was just enjoying the warmer weather. However, Dolly was not turning up for her food and her lounging around time on the sofa.The area is generally quiet and open spaced, ideal for cats. She is not microchipped or wearing a collar, have tried but she keeps coming home collarless!! I have had flyers printed off and put through doors in the area, contacted the vet and informed and asked the council refuse centre, and so not sure what else to do, as in all these cases its the not knowing which is heart wrenching.

Area Lost : Glendale Road near the Highdown Area of Hove.
Details : Sarah and is an 8 year old Tabby. Sarah and her owners had just moved and they werent allowing her out until she got settled in her new surroundings, So they are not sure how she managed to get out ??!! Sarah is used to going out even though she is a bit timid and shy of humans she doesn't know. And as she has just moved, she doesnt know the area at all and her owners are very concerned. They have looked endlessly around the roads etc and leafleted the area but there has been no response. She is chipped, but no joy has come from that yet. Sarah's belly hangs down quite low, she's not that fat but just seems to have a lot of excess skin. They are sure she'll be hiding somewhere quiet and they hope that they will find her soon as she's not a very confident cat at all. Details : Pickele is black and white (on neck, chest and belly) date of birth 15 april 2009 so almost a year old. He has been neutered and microchipped. His owners contacted the mircochip centre and he has been reported missing since january 2010, but they havent heard anything, so trying to find otherways to see if he is still around.
Pickele wentmissing after he was scared off by a dominant large male cat in the area, so his owners have no idea if anybody has taken him in, especially as the weather was quite bad at the time. They have put posters through peoples doors in Chichester Close and Stonecroft, but have heard nothing.

Details : Theo is a 3 year old neutered male. He is a large cat with green eyes and quite striking coat, mottled in appearance over the his back and sides, spots on his tummy and striped legs. He is a sociable cat and quite vocal particularly when apprehensive (i.e. Vet visits) Sadly Theo recently lost his collar and as he has not been microchipped, we are naturally concerned that this may inhibit us finding him. Theo is very partial to spending time hunting over the Downs, however, it is very uncharacteristic of him not to return to eat at some point over a 24 hour period, particularly if it's raining! He originally went missing on Sun 24th January when his owners started doing work on their bedroom. Six days later they received a call from a lady who lives in Freshfield Street who had found him. As he was being fed and well lookedafter by this lady and going in and out of the cat flap, they made the very tough decision to leave him where he was. They knew that they couldn't bring him back to the chaos of their home as their bedroom refurbishment had escalated into having the whole house rewired. The day before they were due to pick him up, the lady called to say he had gone. He was last seen by this lady on Freshfield Street on Thurs 28th Jan. Since then they have had several calls saying there have been sightings of him. Details : Daisy is 10 months old, she is fairly small and was wearing a pink collar with a barrel tag with their telephone no' in it, she is also micro-chipped. She was spayed about 4 months ago and is up to date with all her jabs. She is an inquizitive little girl and is very affectionate.Until she disappeared she had never stayed out at night and kept close to home, never gone more than an hour or so.They have spent quite a few days out looking for her, calling her name, dropping leaflets through doors and searched the allotments and fields behind Overdown Rise (as she never seemed to go out at the front onto the road, always preferring to head back towards the fields and garages) Unfortunately they only have photos of her when she was a kitten and she has grown quite a bit since these were taken but she is still wearing the same pink collar as in the last picture when she disappeared. Please help us find Daisy as she is adored by her owner and two girls and they are all missing her terribly, Thank You.

Several houses in their road were broken into that night and they had intruders who went round the back of their property too. So her owners believe that Emmy was frightened by the intrusion as she is nervous anyway, and one of their other cats also went missing that night for 3 days. Details : 'Billy' is 8 yrs old, neutered, (unfortunately not chipped) He is a very large (not fat) black and white cat with an incredibly long tail that curls over his entire back to his neck. He has a black smudge to the left of his nose. He has yellow/green eyes. His four legs are predominantly white. He has a very long coat. He is quite a character, very gentle and friendly. He loves his dinner, and usually does not stray too far from home. Although, he does enjoy having a daily walk on the downs with his sister and their collie dog. They live in the tiny village of Telscombe which is situated on the downs about 2 1/2 miles inland from Peacehaven and Saltdean and 2 miles from the c7 road to Lewes. It is hard to know where to look. In the area there are holiday makers and a youth hostel so he may have jumped into a vehicle so could end up anywhere or it is a possibility that he has been taken as he is so friendly. If anyone thinks they recognise Billy, please get in touch as he is being terribly missed by everyone. Thank You

Details : A PLEA DIRECT FROM 'KINKY's OWNER
The thing is that, despite Kinky having a collar on with my address and phone number and her being microchipped I have heard absolutely nothing about what actually happened to her and where her (or her body) may be now!
I have rung the council and spoken to the RSPCA to no avail. I have been assured that as she was microchipped I would have been contacted if her body had been handed over.
What else could have happened to her - why wasn't I contacted? As you can imagine I have loads of unanswered questions. My worst worry is what if she wasn't actually dead, just stunned and when she came to ran off and is now lost.....

Details:Captain Pugwash is long haired, mainly black or very dark chocolate with some lighter chocolate in places. He has a white chest and tummy, white whiskers and white paws. He was wearing a red collar. It is important he is found quickly as he is epileptic and needs medication day and night, he is about seven or eight years old he is neutered. Details : T.J. is 12 years old and he is mainly black with white socks, white tummy and white nose/mouth. He is neutered & microchipped. He has a thyroid problem requiring daily medication and without this he will become very ill and even more thin than he is now! Details : Tux is a much loved male cat, he is is a very friendly cat and doesn't normally go far from his home patch and he also has never been out overnight before. He is mainly black but has a white bib and feet (hence his name) and an off centre white splodge on his face. When he went missing he was wearing a bright orange collar. Tux is a fairly large cat and he has been neutered... not much of a fighter but is very inquisitive so could very easily have wandered into somewhere he can't get out of. Area Lost : InwoodCrescent off Dyke Rd.
Details : Clive is a 2 yr old male Tabby, He's grey, black and tan. He has been chipped. His owner has contacted Petlog, Cityclean, PDSA , put up posters and hand delivered small leaflets in the immediate area where he now lives, but he's not been found.
Originally they lived in Mile Oak in Stonery Close until a few months ago when they temporarily stayed in the Dyke Road/HighCroft area for 2 months. Clive roamed free and settled in ok but did dissapear for 4 days at first and came back looking like he'd got locked in somewhere. But last week when he joined his owner at Inwood Crescent very close to the above area of Dyke Road. he dissapeared through the catflap after only 2 days and has not been seen since, he hasn't turned up at his previous address either just around the corner.
Clive is very shy and generally runs from people, so please, please keep an eye out for him and call us should you see him so we can reunite them as soon as possible, Thank You.

Details : Brucie went missing back on the 14 August for twenty days returning on the 3rd September BUT we have heard today that after only a couple of hours he went walkabout again.He is the tabby cat in the photo (the black cat in the photo is his dad)
He also went missing about 2 months before this, for 6 days and his owner believes someone may have taken him in as he is such a soppy cat. He is exactly 2 years old.
His Mum and dad are missing him as well as myself and my children. We would like to ask that if you know of Brucie's whereabouts or know of someone who may have taken him in thinking he was a stray to contact us so we can put you in contact with his concerned owners.
