Our Mission LostCatsBrighton aims to relieve the suffering and distress of Cats and Kittens by rescuing the abandoned, unwanted, mistreated, injured and homeless. Providing veterinary care, food, accomodation as necessary, but with the ultimate aim of rehoming healthy animals whenever possible. In addition to trap, neuter and return feral cats, and to educate the public in feline welfare. LostCatsBrighton Operates a strictly 'NO KILL' policy Wherever possible we never turn a cat away and never put a cat to sleep Unless to stop extreme pain and suffering! About Our Website The site aims to be a comprehensive Lost&Found list for cats missing in Brighton and the surrounding areas and also a 'Showcase' for the cats in our care who are looking for new homes. We are local to Brighton and have run the site since 2001. The site is updated daily. The service has evolved from the experience of two friends losing two very special cats Fuzzy & Darcy. If your cat has gone missing We all appreciate the anguish of losing a cat and hopefully the following pages will provide guidance on what to do if your cat is missing. It is FREE to have your cats details on the site To have your cats details added, just email us your cats details and a photo Please try and give us as much info as possible such as the cats Name, Date Lost, Area Lost, Details about your cat including Approx age, Sex, Colouring, Long or short haired, eye colour. If neutered &/or microchipped and any other distinguishing markings, scars or characteristics that will help to reunite you with your cat. NB: All we ask in return is that when your cat does come home or is found, please drop us a quick email to let us know, so that we can update our site with the good news and help us ensure the cats on the 'Lost' page are current. Finding a Stray Please consider previous owners before permanently adopting a stray in your area, it might be a small child's pet or an elderly persons companion. So, if you do have a stray cat which has turned up in your garden or area, please call us and we can add the cat's details on our 'Found' page and hopefully we can reunite cat and owner/s About Rehoming All the cats available for rehoming are cleared as healthy by our local vets and before being rehomed they are vaccinated, neutered/spayed and microchipped. Please see our 'Adopting a Cat' page for details on how to go about it. Many Thanks From Everyone At LostCatsBrighton
