Gone but Never Forgotten

In loving memory of all the wonderful Kitties that have given so many of us so much love and joy and have left an indelible PawPrint that will remain forever in our Hearts.

This page is for anyone who's cat has sadly passed on and who wishes to share a few memories, words or a poem and of course a photo.

So we can share in their loss but celebrate with them the life they had.

‘To our darling Sophie.

We miss you so much and will never forget you.

The flat feels so lonely and quiet without you, especially around meal times!

We even miss your 4am wake up calls for feeding!

You will always be in our hearts.

Lots of love, Tom and Julie’

                                                           Pebbles

Our hearts are very heavy losing Pebbles whilst in our care.

Pebbles was a very gentle & sweet natured kitty and

she will be very fondly remembered by all of us here at the Rescue xxx

Pebbles had been abandoned in an empty flat when her owners moved out leaving a note to the new occupants saying 'please take to a cat shelter!!!!!!

We received the call on the 19 April 2010 from the new occupants, asking us to help find her a new & loving home and we were all totally shocked that someone could justleave their cat like that !!!

When she was brought into us, as standard practice she was taken to the vets for a check up and the necessary vaccinations, worming etc and there were no signs that anything was wrong with her health.

Sadly last Saturday she seemed a bit subdued and off her food, so when by Sunday evening was still not eating and didnt want to be touched Ron decided to take her to the emergency vets where they found a large growth in her stomach and it was too far gone for them to be able to do anything and the hard decision of putting her to sleep was made.

         Ella

Ella was a stray that Ron took into his heart and home for four lovely years

but sadly she had a tumour and the hard and very sad decision to put her to sleep was made.

Ron swore that he would not have any more personal cats and he would just care for the strays in the pen and find them loving homes.

Hmm!!! that promise to himself of not getting attached personally to cats coming into the Rescue

He has as clearly been broken, but with so many coming through his doors, it's understandible that it's very hard to resist ;)
